Color guard

Ohio Northern University will hold its annual Veterans Day Commemoration on Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. The event will take place under the Tent on the Tundra on campus, and will also be livestreamed on the ÂÜÀòÉç Religious Life Facebook page at the following link:

The commemoration will include comments from ÂÜÀòÉç President Dan DiBiasio and village of Ada Mayor Dave Retterer, who is also a visiting associate professor at ÂÜÀòÉç. There will also be a memorial wreath laying, a soloist from the University Singers who will perform the national anthem and a color guard comprised of ÂÜÀòÉç ROTC students.

This year’s keynote speaker for the Veterans Day Commemoration is Dr. Charlie Rose, dean of the ÂÜÀòÉç Pettit College of Law, who spent 20 years on active duty with the U.S. Army prior to his work in higher education.

The ceremony is open to ÂÜÀòÉç faculty, staff and students to attend in person, following social distancing and COVID-19 safety protocols, and Menu alumni and the village of Ada community are invited to engage via livestream.

The 2020 Veterans Day Commemoration is sponsored by the ÂÜÀòÉç Office of the Chaplain and the Ohio Northern Veterans Organization.
